Import Extreme 2002

When you think of Hawaii, you think vacations on tropical beaches, gorgeous bikini-clad women, lots of fluffy drinks, awesome surf and an ocean of space between all of this and the bullshit you left behind at home. And, to be honest, the islands score very high in all areas of expectation. Especially when it comes to customizing cars. The last thing you'd expect in such a place is an army of imports fixed up in everything from mild to wild fashion. But the islands can brag a huge import culture and plenty of sick rides.

Recently, AMG took its Import Extreme car show extravaganza to Honolulu,along with several mainland attractions for a gigantic assembly of import madness. The Crew at AMG rounded up several Import Tuner cover models, including Sasha Singleton and Francine Dee, for the trip, along with L.J. Garcia and his infamous show-stopping Civic. To top things off and provide showgoers with a real treat, AMG shipped in hip hop star Coolio and his entourage for a live performance at Import Extreme on Saturday night.
