I know that you guys aren't geniuses but the least you can do is pull out a calculator every once in a while! In last May's Power Pages you said that 538 + 1,258 + 899 = 1,696. Come on guys-I'm in ninth grade and I figured it out without a calculator!
P.S. What are some performance parts I can get for my '07 Civic Si without voiding the warinty.
--Esteban Davis, Rockwall, Tex.
You're in ninth grade and driving? Math may be your strong point, but apparently you're lacking in some other areas-warinty? PWNED! But in all seriousness, you're right in this case...Fujita's intake for the '08 Civic Si definitely doesn't retail for $1,258, despite its baller bronze hues and power gains; it'll only set you back $258. Our bad. Save up you allowance and you'll be able to afford one for your mom's '07 Si in no time, and installing one won't void the "warranty".

Thank you guys so much for the killer May issue! Flat Out Sexy was a great title choice-Stephen's STI and the Skunk2's EVO just go to show that flat kicks ass! My question: How are these people getting such a nice finish? I live way the f-out in Wyoming, and really want to give my '98 EK the flat treatment, but no one out here knows how to do it. Does the flat come from a single-stage paint, or a base/clear scheme? Long live flat!

Fortunately for you, Luke got to your letter before the rest of us did, or else it would've ended up directly in the "trash" folder. Not that we don't agree with you about sick-ass cars with well-executed flat finishes-we just don't like to hear about it from owners of flat-broke, semi-gloss green Integra project cars that take up space in our garage for months on end! In Luke's defense, the flat finish is a little difficult to master. BASF's Ultra Flat Clear or PPG's Flexed "N" Flat clear coats are some of the best options for a flat-finished, two-stage paintjob. And as soon as Luke figures out how to apply them correctly to the Project DC2, (Nice drawing, Luke) he'll let you know!

I'm 17 years old and am having a problem with my '05 Altima. Every morning before I take the car out, my mother tells me to make sure to warm it up before I drive it. After it warms up, I floor it for a stretch on my block, usually hitting 100 mph on average. So one morning, I was doing my usual routine and the car felt strange-it wasn't hitting 100 as usual. There's definitely some kind of problem here, but I'm still not sure what it could be. Also, since my mom's about to give the car to me, are there any performance parts I could get for it? Any advice would be great.
--Jonathan Verna, N.Y.
The first problem that comes to mind is the juvenile delinquent behind the wheel. Seriously-100 mph in a residential area? Hey, here's a high-five and two thumbs up for being a f*cking moron! Kids like you who are killing yourselves, and others, in cars like your mom's and are exactly who give our scene such a negative reputation. Yes, there are performance parts available for the Altima-too bad it sounds like you're destroying your mom's-and our advice: Go back to riding the bus for a few more years; you're obviously too immature to handle a car.

Hey Import Tuner, you can shoot my dark grey WRX project car on one condition, the girl who models with it has to be 2NR Managing Editor Kelly Nomura! Mmm yummy!

After looking over your pics, Murph, we pulled every card in the deck to try to get Kelly to model-up with your WRX, but it seems she's holding out for our project DC2 to make cover. We explained to her that it's not even worthy of car cover, let alone a magazine cover, but she wouldn't hear it. We'll keep trying... Maybe if you asked her nicely, in a hand written letter from prison, she'd reconsider. She seems to get a kick out of those!
