What's better than going to Vegas? Going to Vegas during the third annual Supra meet. While most of us rave on about how bad-ass the Nissan Skyline is, even though there are only a handful of them in the States, the Supra will live on as the dopest high-horsepower import to hit the U.S. market. The Toyota Supra's JZ powerplant is the import engine that can produce the most power on a stock bottom end.

Enough about the MK IV powerplant, there's something far greater than this particular model, and that's the love for the Supra. This year at the sixth annual Vegas Supra "invasion," we witnessed the appearance of every Supra ever offered in the States. If that's not showing love for the Supra, I don't know what is.

Day one consisted of asserting bragging rights on the dyno. With an appearance of Titan Motorsport's and Power House's Supras, it would be a toss up on who would win the dyno shootout. Titan ended up winning by producing 1120 hp, with PowerHouse showing up just for the track day on Friday.

Day two consisted of a road trip to Las Vegas' Red Rock and the day ended with 1320 runs at the Las Vegas Speedway. Just over 40 Supras showed up at the track with plenty of 12-, 11-, 10-sec. Supras, and one 9-sec. car. Of course, the 9-sec. run was achieved by Titan Motorsports. Considering this was a normal test and tune day, we witnessed Supras bashing a Vette, a Viper, twoMustangs and two Firebirds.

The last day, Saturday, was the grand finale with a show-and-shine session. This is where more than 150 Supras from various model years came out to flaunt engine bays, interiors and exteriors.

All in all, if your love for the Supra is as big as the horsepower numbers the car's capable of producing, this show is for you.
