Jetlagged from two very long weeks in Japan, I sluggishly make my way to the studio. Inside the cove and surrounded by lights is our high End cover car, the red STI. brighter still is the welcome I get from Alicia Whitten. Super sweet, very chill and a girl actually into the same cars that we are, she's not even in makeup and her natural beauty is enough to knock me back six time zones.
After the photo shoot, I sit down and find out that if you want a shot at this hottie, you should go buy yourself an FD, learn how to drift and buy lots and lots of ice cream. hurry, 'cause I guarantee only bigger and brighter things for her.
Import Tuner: So I hear that you're into cars?
Alicia Whitten: yep, I love all cars, but I'm really into Imports.
2NR: Do you drive an import?
AW: yeah, I drive a Scion tC.
2NR: Stick or auto?
AW: Stick!
2NR: We always appreciate a girl that can handle a stick. Now here's the money question: Is it tuned?
AW: of course! I just got started though. I just had my DC Sports header and strut bar put in.
2NR: Word? We should do a power pages buildup on your car.
AW: [Laughs] hell yeah, you should!

2NR: Most def., I scratch your back, you scratch my, er, back. So what's your favorite car?
AW: oh man, there are so many makes that I like, but I really like the FD RX-7.
2NR: FD?! Chassis code talk is such a turn on. I guess now would be a good time to tell you that I just so happen to own one.
AW: ooooh! you better not leave the keys in the car around me!
2NR: It's oK, mine doesn't run yet...
AW: Maybe I can help, I actually work on cars too.
2NR: Word? What can you do?
AW: I can change my own brake pads and rotors and can also change my own oil and sparkplugs.
2NR: Did you hear that? That's the sound of my heart melting. As far as cars go, are you into more show or race cars?
AW: I like the race cars better; I absolutely love drifting.
2NR: have you ever tried drifting? It's hella hard.
AW: yes, I sure have! It is hard, but it's so much fun!
2NR: What car did you drift in?
AW: An FC RX-7.
2NR: Rawr, more chassis code talk. Did someone teach you?
AW: My ex, ex-boyfriend. I'm not that good at it anymore, it's been a long time.Anyone care to teach me [laughs]?
2NR: Well, I do have a broken-ass FD you could sit in. If you have a vivid imagination,I'll make vroom-vroom noises.
AW: [Laughs] I probably would, too.
2NR: Do you have a favorite drifter?
AW: I love Nomuken. he's good, and he seems to have fun when he drifts. He always has a smile on his face, even if he loses.
2NR: he's good. Really short, but good. Is that how you like your men?
AW: [Laughs] heck, nooooo! I like my guys tall.
2NR: Does 5'8" almost 5'9" count?
AW: I don't want to have to pick up my guys to give them a kiss if I'm wearingheels [laughs].
2NR: D'oh! Not only have you eliminated me, but you've also knocked out about 89 percent of our Asian readership! besides tall non-Asians, what else do you look for in a guy?
AW: [Laughs] It's actually not that big of a deal...I look more for personality.
2NR: So I do have a chance! Like what?
AW: I said they need to have a good personality. [Laughs] I kid, I kid! I like a guy who is fun, spontaneous and who respects himself as well as others.
2NR: Check, check and triple check. So are you the partying type? If I were to stalk, er, look for you where would I find you?
AW: If you were a stalker? hmm, I thought I saw you in my window last night! [Giggling] Just kidding! I party once in a while. I'm usually in clubs in L.A. or SanDiego and most of the time just to go-go dance. potential stalkers can keep an eye out for my fliers. I usually post 'em up on MySpace.
2NR: your MySpace address, once again? Just kidding. So can I go up to the bouncer and say that I'm friends with Alicia?
AW: of course you can!
