I never realized how spoiled we are working for 2NR. Going once a year to Tokyo Auto Salon as well as visiting the different Super Autobacs in the Japan you tend not to be as surprised the next year. When word got out that Super Autobacs was opening a store in California, most kids were pissing their pants while I sat back and said, "Oh...cool." For those who aren't familiar what Autobacs is, here is a brief description.

Autobacs is what you get when you mix an auto parts store, an import and domestic race shop, off road SUV center and car stereo shop. Now take all that and space it out in a two-story supermarket. Not stopping there, add an installation/general maintenance garage about the size of a full size basketball court. Eh, it's still kinda small.

When it came time for the Autobac USA grand opening I really didn't expect what I witnessed. A flood of people standing at the door to get in and a shit load of imports scrambling to find parking. Keep in mind, this Stanton-based Autobacs used to be a movie theater with 10 full screens, so the parking lot isn't the least bit small.

Just because I might have personally experienced the real thing and written about it doesn't mean our readers don't have to experience it first hand. Words cannot describe how bad ass the U.S. Autobacs is. Go to Stanton, Calif., and experience the real thing. I'll tell you, it doesn't get more JDM than this.
