To make sure he's never bored in traffic, Duen then took his Toyota over to Exotic Rides to get the full fifteen-and-a-half yards done on the I.C.E. Out went the factory eight-track player and in went a full competition sound system. Kenwood 6-in components, Rockford Fosgate 6-in mid bass woofers behind the seats and Kenwood 10-in subwoofers were added in to vastly improve the sound delivery. The Kenwood subwoofers were mounted in a fully custom-built plexiglass enclosure behind the seats, and a Rockford Fosgate 350S amplifier was also thrown in to make sure those subwoofers get all the power they need. A 6.4-in in-dash monitor, 5-in glove box mounted monitor and an in-dash DVD/VCD/CD player were installed for those lonely stakeouts. Street Glow neon accents, an Optima deep cycle battery and a full Dynamat covered interior also add that extra cherry on top to this show-winning entertainment system.

To make sure the MR-2 could still cut those corners while soaked in bling, Duen added some choice suspension modifications. A Cusco strut tower brace, TRD dampers and TRD springs were added all around to upgrade turning abilities and to give the perfect amount of drop. To help hold him in during extreme driving maneuvers, Duen chose Sparco Roadster seats to replace the factory pieces. KVR cross-drilled rotors, Porterfield brake pads and stainless steel brake lines were added to help the Toyota from becoming a rear-ending machine. To increase grip with the road, Volk Racing GT-P wheels were installed, sized 17x7 in the front and 18x9 in the rear. On top of those wheels are Toyo Proxes T1-S tires, sized 205/40/ZR17 in the front and 255/35/ZR18 in the rear.

To give the MR-2 a distinct aggressive outward appearance, Exotic Rides attacked the car with a flurry of body pieces. A Border front end, Jade Motorsports winglets, Tom's side skirts and ram air scoop, Exotic Rides Mercedes SL style side vents, and a TRD wing with carbon-fiber inserts were all installed. Lamborghini Diablo mirrors were custom mounted to the Toyota, but were not mounted in time for the photo shoot. JDM clear corner lamps and 94+ rear taillights were added to flush out the whole package. The MR-2 was then brought out to 3 Amigos in Orlando, Fla., for a complete bathing in Sapphire Blue Pearl paint.

When gazing at this fully customized example of automotive love, you may wonder what stone has he not turned in the building process? What more could a guy want to do? Shouldn't he just move on? When you love MR-2s the way Duen does, there's always something new to fall in love with. There's always a new attitude to be forged. This isn't the Mister's neighborhood, and the doctor is always in.
