Good Morning, Mr. Hunt. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, involves the recovery of a favorite American pastime: cruising the beachfront road strip. You may choose your team from either Street Concepts, an operative out of Garden Grove, Calif., or from Kenwood USA, another operative stationed in the Long Beach area. Both are competent, and both can help you in the challenge that lies ahead.
Your primary objective is to bring back the art of "cruisin' the strip." In the past few years, the import performance scene has grown to massive proportions, and this rate of growth doesn't seem to be easing up one bit. With this tremendous growth comes a responsibility to portray import performance cars as mechanically sound, structurally intact and visually pleasing.
The main foes of your operation are the ever-popular "Rich Man's Convertible" covert team. These players, including operatives such as Codename: BMW M3 Convertible and Codename: Mercedes SLK, tend to tarnish the youthfulness of cruising the strip by placing older agents behind the wheels of what should be a younger agent's transportation dream-sporty, flashy and downright fun.
Unfortunately, there is also another foe to contend with: Codename: Detroit Iron. These operatives have been known to take the fun away from any vehicles on the strip, because, although aesthetically pleasing to the eye, they may not have the firepower to effectively wage war.
Street Concepts will be your main partner in executing the mission. It will provide the vehicle and be the backbone for the intelligence and the execution. Beginning with a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, it can provide you with Cerullo sport seats, upgraded interior accents from Suede Radis Upholstery, and MOMO components, consisting of a steering wheel, shift knob and pedals. All of these items will ensure the operative that carries out the mission does so with style and comfort.
While the Eclipse Spyder convertible is an able candidate for this mission, the counterintelligence abilities of the Detroit Iron team may impose a hazard to the success of this mission. With this in mind, we are providing you with the services of several other NOC agents to complete your mission. Axis will provide rolling stock in the form of its 19x8.5-in. NE-O wheels, while Nitto 35-series tires round out that team. The Progress Group and Energy Suspension will provide the rest of the rolling support through a combination of lowering springs and upgraded chassis bushings. AEM will finish up the handling aspect of the mission with an upgraded brake kit, as well as providing several key technicians for the performance aspect of the mission.
