Honda Fit Shift Cables

13. Meticulous R&D over every nook and cranny on the Honda revealed the stock Fit shift cables weren't long enough to work with a K transmission. Hasport found that the only cables that were long enough and configured appropriately to work with a Fit shift mechanism and K-series '06 Si tranny came from the Accord or TSX. Since the Accord cables were the least expensive, Hasport tracked down a set in their scrap pile. Before the cable was connected into place and fully functional, Hasport made a bracket to hold the cable to the transmission.
