Death Jr 2: Root of Evil

House Arrest - Kill Time Killing Everything

Death Jr. came out in the first wave of games released for the PSP last year, and captured fans with its quirky characters and off-beat humor all packaged neatly in a strong action-platform game. Konami took the best aspects of the first game and amped them up for Death Jr. 2: Root of Evil for more in-game action and new ways to play. DJ and his quirky crew are back for more mayhem by dealing out destruction and battling a new range of monstrous and undead creatures.

In Death Jr. 2, DJ and Pandora join together to defeat enemies, and gamers can play either character, each with his/her own set of moves, abilities and weapons. Gamers can hook up through a wireless connection to play a two-player cooperative game, and battle through the levels together to take on crazy creatures like possessed toys, robot llamas and even mutant mall security guards. DJ's abilities get a boost as melee attacks and weapons do more damage this time, killing enemies faster. Other hot little weapons in the arsenal include the C4 Hamster Mark II and the Flaming TP Thrower for some special destruction. A much needed fix to the functionality of the camera has been fixed, letting gamers focus on the action of the game without suffering from bad camera angles anymore. When situations get tough, break out the big destruction and go into Rage Mode and unleash Reaper Madness if playing as DJ, or let Pandora demolish enemies with her special Pandemonium powers. Death Jr. 2: Root of Evil looks like a strong addition to the series with its expanded gameplay and new game options.
