Streetcar Showoff Car Show Honolulu HI

There's a reason why the originator of the import car show and a certain drift-obsessed tire company goes to Hawaii. And no, it isn't for the island-ubiquitous macaroni salad or saimin. It's for the cars. Correction: Pristine show cars.

Import Showoff along with Falken Tires packed their shorts and suntan lotion making their annual trek to the Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, for the Streetcar Showoff. Like the name implies, there were many a car that had a lot to showoff-not to mention the booty shakin' and bikini contests. Clean-built JDM rides rivaling the best from the Mainland proliferated the Hawaiian halls and the packed event went strong 'till way past Luau hours. Thank God for Zippy's.

If there wasn't enough reason for us Mainlanders to go to Hawaii during summer, Streetcar Showoff and Falken gives us enthusiasts another one. And without the gratuitous scoop of mac salad.
