Darton M.I.D. Sleeve Kit
The Mitsubishi 4B11 aluminum block utilizes either a semi closed- or open-deck configuration (depending on model) that's limited by its stock bore size and the horsepower level it can sustain. Darton's M.I.D. sleeve kit converts the block to a stronger, closed-deck setup, allowing the engine to handle a larger-sized bore and the demands of more boost. The wet-sleeve design allows individual sleeves to be removed without re-machining the block if damage occurs to just one or two cylinders-thus giving long-term usage to the block. Darton also offers professional installation of the kit with a 15-day turnaround.

Design Engineering Titanium T3
Turbo Shield

Turbochargers develop heat that can melt electrical wiring, hoses and anything remotely close to this high-temperature heat source. Design Engineering (DEI) has come to the rescue with their new Titanium Turbo Shield, designed to fit T3 turbochargers. Pulverized lava rock is extruded into fibers, and then woven into a tight weave to give the turbo shield titanium-like strength and durability. High temperature silica insulation padding delivers added protection to handle direct continuous heat up to 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit, retaining heat inside the turbo to aid in faster spool-up, while reducing under-hood temperatures, resulting in improved performance. The T3 Turbo Shield is sold separately or as a kit, which includes a two-inch by 15-foot roll of Titanium downpipe wrap, two 14-inch stainless steel locking ties and five feet of fastening wire.
